Dana’s specialties include trauma, anxiety, depression, complex family dynamics, crisis management, and women’s health issues including pregnancy loss and infertility. Dana is trained in different treatment modalities that are rooted in both somatic and cognitive approaches including EMDR, EFT, Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy, and Mindfulness-based Stress Reduction.
Dana graduated in 2004 with a Master of Social Work from The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill; she has been licensed since 2008. Prior to moving to Oregon in 2017, Dana was a therapist in a variety of high-crisis clinical settings in Washington, DC, Maryland, and New Jersey. She worked extensively with individuals and families adversely affected by both personal and community trauma.
Dana has been in private practice in Salem since moving to Oregon and sees adults both in-person and via telehealth. In her practice Dana treats many individuals including healthcare professionals working in the Salem Health system as well as other regional healthcare systems. Dana provides a safe, supportive space for these individuals working in high stress and demanding roles.
