Approach

As a clinical psychologist, Beth has provided services to health professionals for the past 30 years. She understands the stressors in physician’s lives and works to maintain privacy and confidentiality in her private office setting in NW Portland.

Experience

Over her career, Beth has worked in prevention, private practice, hospitals and clinics. She has served as President of the Oregon Psychological Association, served on and chaired the Advisory Committee on Colleague Assistance (American Psychological Association) and as a Governor Appointee to the Health Evidence Review Commission (2012-18, State of Oregon).

She has given invited presentations on topics including depression, burnout, physician wellness, psychological aspects of medical conditions and group work.

Beth helped develop the Physician Wellness Program at the Medical Society of Metropolitan Portland and continues to aid in the protections of privacy and convenient scheduling for physicians, physician assistants and nurse practitioners.
