Amy Holbrook, LCSW, CADC III has been in private clinical practice in Lake Oswego for 22 years, specializing in short- and long-term treatment of anxiety, trauma, depression, and chemical use recovery. With a special interest in working with health care professionals, she is the former coordinator for the Hazelden/Betty Ford Women’s Program and mental health therapist. She facilitates two long term process groups for women.

Biography:

An MSW from the University of Hawaii, Amy has worked in medical centers in mental health, Emergency Department Social Work, Oncology, and inpatient and outpatient psychiatric treatment.

Amy has training in psychodynamic and cognitive/behavioral psychotherapy from a fellowship at the Menninger Clinic, and she is a graduate from the Oregon Psychoanalytic Psychotherapy Program. She has extensive training in recovery from chemical use disorders for individuals and families, with certification at the supervisory level.

Using practical skills, with a compassionate and direct communication style, Amy’s approach helps people identify aspects of relationships they may want to change; with themselves, with others and with work.
